Hysterical Haunt is a 3D horror game in which you investigate a haunted mansion and try to release the spirit trapped within. The spirit in question is a little girl who seems to find a lot of amusement in haunting you.
Uncover the cause of her demise and most importantly; find a way to let her rest in peace.

As a level designer for this project, I faced the special challenge of crafting a haunted mansion within just 48 hours for a global game project. My mission was to create a spine-chilling environment that perfectly captures the essence of horror and suspense.
I started by tactically building the haunted mansion, focusing on creating a setting that’s not only eerie but also immersive. Every detail, from hiding spots to the basement chamber, was designed to make the mansion feel alive with tension. I aimed to ensure that every corner of this spooky house would keep players on their toes.
Detailing the mansion with assets was crucial. I thoughtfully placed textures and models to enhance the atmosphere and bring the haunted mansion to life. The fog and camera positions were all designed to heighten the sense of dread and mystery, ensuring that the mansion was as much a character in the story as the spirit itself.
In Hysterical Haunt, players navigate the mansion using fixed camera angles, 3D sound, and clever hiding mechanics, all while trying to avoid the mischievous little girl who haunts the place. My design ensured that each room and corridor contributed to the tension and excitement of the investigation, packed with hidden details and spine-tingling scares.
Overall, despite the tight 48-hour deadline, I poured my creativity and passion into making the haunted mansion a standout feature of Hysterical Haunt. The result is a chilling, immersive environment that enhances the horror and mystery, making for a truly unforgettable experience. I also learned a lot about GitHub and branching during this project, so much so that I took on the responsibility of handling merges and branching for our upcoming mobile project, similar to an observer design pattern.
