As a programmer for this project, I dove into the vibrant world of color mechanics to make the game as dynamic and engaging as possible. I tackled the color fusion system, allowing players to blend and change colors creatively as they collect bubbles.
I implemented hue change functionality to ensure smooth transitions and vibrant color effects throughout the game. This involved precise color calculations to keep everything looking sharp and consistent.
Another key part of my role was adding specific colors to players when they collected blobs, making each player’s transformation a visual treat. I also programmed a system to randomly assign colors, adding an element of surprise and strategy to the gameplay.
Overall, I focused on making sure the color mechanics in this game were both functional and visually correct, enhancing the fun and challenge of racing to collect bubbles and outsmart opponents.
