Welcome to "Holey TrapZ"
A mobile game where you need to strategically drag and drop holes to trap incoming waves of zombies and protect yourself from the undead apocalypse. As the last known survivor in this world taken by zombies, it's up to you to use your quick thinking and special powers to survive as long as possible.
The game mechanics are simple yet challenging. Zombies are running towards you, and your only defense is holes. By dragging and dropping them onto the playing field, you can create traps for the zombies to fall into, effectively eliminating them as a treat and earning some coins meanwhile.
But it's not just about mindlessly dropping holes. You'll need to use strategy to ensure your survival. As the levels progress, the zombies become faster and more numerous, requiring you to think quickly and plan your moves carefully. On top of all of that, the holes themselves are constantly moving towards you, adding an extra layer of challenge for the player.
Holes are not the only way to protect yourself. You'll also have access to special powers, such as a powerful laser that can wipe out zombies with a single sweep, or a mighty hammer that crushes close-by zombies' heads. But use these powers wisely, as they are limited and must be looted from the loot boxes.
Also... to prevent yourself from accidentally falling into the holes you've created, you can place planks on top of them. These planks provide a temporary bridge, allowing you to run across and prevent yourself from being a zombie lunch. But... as you can run across the bridge, so can zombies! Be careful and strategic with your moves!
With its fast-paced drag-and-drop mechanics, challenging gameplay, and exciting power-ups, "Holey TrapZ" offers endless hours of entertainment for players of all skill levels. Are you ready to become the ultimate survivor and face the zombie apocalypse, alone?

A huge part of my responsibilities in this project was managing the entire workflow. I encouraged every team member to use Fork as our main Git client.
My main job was to manage the branching and merging process and to help everyone get the hang of branching and dealing with and avoiding merge conflicts. This was the biggest challenge of the project.
As the lead metagame developer for this project, I had the exciting job of shaping key features that make the game both strategic and thrilling. I helped design the inventory system, making it easy for players to manage their tools and special powers.
I also developed the random loot box drop feature, adding an element of surprise and reward with valuable items like lasers and hammers. Balancing this system was crucial to keep players engaged and strategic.
In addition, I helped with gameplay programming, fine-tuning player movement and abilities to ensure a smooth drag-and-drop experience for trapping zombies. I also programmed various abilities to give players tactical options.
My role included creating the game’s UI and managing the currency system, ensuring everything was intuitive and visually appealing.
Overall, I focused on integrating these elements to make this game exciting and fun. From inventory and loot drops to player controls and UI, I aimed to deliver a seamless and addictive experience for players fighting off the zombie apocalypse!
